It's still hard to prove, and a serious multi abuser will switch up their IP/MAC addy to foil built in countermeasures. Unfortunately, like MMO gold farming, it will always be there but TM can still enforce the rules as best they can and minimize the benefits gained from multi.

And as Jeff said earlier up the thread, they do want some PVP they just dont want ganking/farming a la Travian.

Right, you need to upgrade palace and youll grow them at 3 per hour until you reach the cap for that palace level. I like the trade focus, as it makes things more interesting than the typical browser game one-man-empire stuff, which gets boring.

The main problem is only about 10% of the players seem to have figured out that youre supposed to trade, and so a lot of regions have pretty dead markets.

I prefer it this way, one of the things that sucked about Travian was ABC or some other huge ass alliance would blob up in the middle of the map and chain gank everyone who wasnt one of their lackeys. Cities and monuments seem like a good way to have some limited combat/competition without making it...
