The "Monkey Impact." I like it. :) There's a story or a joke or something in there, but I'm too brain dead to find it today. "Don't monkey with my COTNians" I've never had this problem. I tend to set up my merchant center and exchange next to each other with a scribe or two latter in the game set t...

Farm to townhouse ratio. Make sure that you have max farms built and occupied. Anything short of max farms will result in a townhouse going short on food.

You have two different types of workers in your city. Government workers comprise, nobels(townhouses, scribes, overseer, priests, commanders) and their farmers, laborers, soldiers, craftsmen. They are all issued food and take from the bakeries the cut due to them, except for the townhouses and their...

I've noticed that with the overseer and his wife, that she will sit and preen and party and preen while he is working. When he isn't working, they both will go out shopping, and even if you provide for them a servent, the servent only works when the husband is in town. Their kid will go to school an...

Well, seeing that the two pyramids showing are a Great and a Large, both under construction, and the amount of regular limestone shown in the distance quarried is all that is quarried (meaning none cut ready to haul out of quarry) and a third pyramid just off screen also under construction, I believ...

Ever walk your city Mulluane? ** yawn** LoL

Good idea though. Insitefull on how they can be layered. But lacks the feel of a good 'Ol city.

That's what COTN does over other city builders. They've made so that you can actually walk you city. Thats how I build, NOW  .

Just a thought

Since playing, I've found a few things that would be helpfull for game play. 1~ Keyboard shortcuts. There aren't enough. ie I can hit q to open the people report, but would like to hit a key to show just laborers, or just crafts men, etc. 2~ Pan/tilt keyboard commands. Arrrow keys do move you around...

I pre-ordered mine on 10/23. Recieved an E-mail from them on 11/9 that it was being shipped out that day. On the 10th it still was listed as being boxed. Finally on the 11th it was listed as sent. Bogus tracking USPS number. I'm still waiting.

Good description David. As a dancer myself, your tutorial of choreographing is simple enough for anyone to understand the basics and is also insitefull to how game design is. It helped me understand your process. TY
