Ummm,

Another person with Windows 2000 Pro, that may contribute to the problem. As I explained in another post 2000 Pro can be very tempermental.

Grrr, computer problems are almost as irritating as car problems :)

cyclotron Interesting you are running Windows 2000 Pro, are you running on a network, or as a workstation? Since, thats what it was designed for. I used to run 2000 Pro and it can be very quirky. If there is not a specific need to use that as an OS Operating System, I might suggest switching to Wind...

OH OH :) I did the same thing, and here is what I figured out you need to do a load saved game unless you named your game a specific name it will be something like this AutoSave 2005.02.28 - 06h.36m.34s (as a file name) thats the last game If you need to reload a campaign it will have something like...

Ummm, I am running the Radeon 9800 Pro and it didnt have any special setups for it, I doubt your 9500 would be too much different...You certainly have ample resources and if its a Dell, I suspect your monitor is at least a 17 ""... Its not in Windows mode? correct? In other words you cant see your w...

Now you need stone-carvers to carve the statues... But, I suspect you have them already? correct?? if so.... Make sure you have your overseer (Oversee construction).... If your labours, were doing something else.... quarrying limestone, mining, whatever.. (especially quarrying limestone) it may take...

In Sophalin's defense, I applaude <clap><clap> him/her for thinking outside of the box. But, the answer to your question: It is not allowable with the editor, to do it the way you would like to. The only option you have is to have a larger pre-placed Palace at the beginning of the game. Which would ...

If I understand your question correctly, and after giving this a little thought, I think what you might have to do is: create 2 cities Example: City1 - opens and does whatever your normal trade is but when it opens, you could open the giftcity but make it invisible, and gives one large statue, make ...

Peddlers only: Doesnt matter, a sea or river, if they are a water merchant and you have a shoreline on which they can land, they will. I think only when there is not a shore to land on, that a barge or a Merchant center built on the ocean or river is needed. all others trader types if by water Govt ...

Creating a scenario can be a lot of fun... The difficulty for me are the amount of triggers, they can become extensive and tricky, if you want to do certain things.

It will be interesting to see what you come up with.

I have seen some people modify the CoTN.ini upto as high as 1000, which is speed 10. YIKES, scares me.

I used 4.5 for testing, to get through quickly. After playing it at least 20-30 times, gets a litte tiring after a bit. But, I like this scenario, much better than my first (Bakatah).

Valley of Tjemhu - (sequel to Bakatah)

Ok all - here is another scenario for you. This is the second map of a campaign, I am working on its The Valley of Tjemhu - (sequel to Bakatah) Since I am not one to dwell on pretty map making and tend to like shorter games with goals, this takes me about 6 hours at a 4.5 speed. it is a 125x125 map ...
