BRICKS, BRICKS, BRICKS everything takes bricks, make sure to put your brickmakers next to papyrus and reeds or else they spend all day walking to get these necessary items to make bricks. Put your bricklayers close to them, because they hate running across town to get bricks. BAKERS, BAKERS, BAKERS,...

:( yeah,
they dont do much, I am not even sure if they help up your prestige. But if you just started playing dont worry about those raiders much, they dont do a whole lot of harm, just make sure you have a guard post and a few city guards

It seems to me if I have health related issues, part is diet, vegetables keep one healthy, so they say. In densely populated areas, labour camps, barracks, right next to each other I make sure I have plenty of bakeries and on occasion, I have had to place a second hospital and apothecary even though...

Ahhhhh Max-1 great tip on not adding stone carvers till you are ready!! Great point I wasnt sure about quarrying basalt statues, but that certainly makes sense, you would get the maximum results in the least amount of time. I didnt place my obilisks until I was up to 700 but I should just wait on al...

Tombs and deaths

While playing Racoons XX Dynasty it has a huge prestige requirement (1000) The problem I had was that my Pharaohs would die faster than I could accumulate prestige.. I was on my 10th with a negative -328 in events. This was in 70 years while I understand it is important to make sure you have a tomb ...

I played every campaign and scenario and only used 6-8 nobles With exception to 1... where 10 Luxury Townhouses were required... With me it is more so, because of what my system can handle. I run a 1.8Ghz machine and when I start getting over 10 nobles or building a large Pyramid I must start loweri...

:( :( Alas, try as I may I guess I will have to give up on this one.. I restarted 4 times and spent 2 weeks. Enjoyable as it was, my Pharoahs died faster than I could keep up with.. in 70 years I went through 10 of them, see attached snapshot I thought I almost had it beat but after the last death i...

I would have to redownload the demo, to check :) but if I remember right, the demo was extremely limited. I suspect only to keep the download smaller and the graphics it seems to me the demo stated that you had a lot of control for graphics as opposed to the demo. They probably kept a low resolution...

Overseers and Labours What it seems to me is that more Overseers can actually cause problems. I normally only have 2. which you can have 20-40 labours they can manage. They only reason I would have that many labours is if I need to constuct a pyramid. If not, I usually only have 8-16 and 1 Overseer....

Thank you NumakNatut III I have likewise enjoyed your maps. It is very interesting to see how people build their cities, yours obviously is setup entirely different than the way I structured mine. LOL I think yours looks better :) I am workiing on the sequel. I am/was hoping to have a 4 map Campaign...

Thanks :)

I noticed the raids like that too. I had one raid where they by-passed the city entirely. I have no idea, whats up with that, or if I am supposed to add some other parameters.

LOL I confirm those failed floods, for whatever reason, it seems as though the floods failed 75% of the time, I actually had to add rich flood triggers to keep things at a reasonable pace. Maybe, because many of the sites require food it causes it to act a certain way. As I said earlier, I am not ce...

I originally had 160+ villagers and when I played I only used 100 of them and did the whole scenario with only 6 nobles, so I decided to reduce the amount of villagers. It was just a judgement call, I suppose I could add some more. I added a snapshot on my original post you can click on that and see...

First I want to thank all of those who helped me in tutorials. And the first set of raiders are a hidden camp (Libyan renegade)... the trigger is a Prestige of 17 or higher, that should allow you enough time to get a commander and a few soldiers. You cant destroy them. Once you go on the Delta Exped...

Bakatah and The Sea-People of Peleset

Hi to all, Well this is my first map. I have played it at least 30+ times trying to ensure all works as it should, I am certain you will let me know if it doesnt. It is the first in a campaign I am considering. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did in making it. You have a character Grogo - The Ghoul...

I used the tiled paths to completely mark out my city (the major portion anyway) before I ever start building. By counting the tiles I know exactly what is going where, and since building mastabes, sphinx, statues, etc may take time, I try to ensure that these areas are close to my bricklayers to re...
