I like the challenge of working with what they give you. the most I do is change what the shops make.

The phoenix area is definitely not like it used to be. 50 years ago, it was nice here, now, it is a big PAIN.

Arizona is different and the people living here are different too. We garden in the winter, hike mountains and play outdoors. We also play in the snow. Summer brings warmer temps but lots of swimming. Our gardens go into hibernation because of the heat. When I was growing up, everyone did things out...

As I have perfected my layout, the problems have dwindled. There is only an occassional glitch that I think is out of the norm where people seem to get stuck in one behavior. examples: 1. the shopping wife who walks in place in front of the shop for several years. 2. the priest who shops and never w...

This priest lived right next to his work site. Across the road was his shopping district with bread and all the shops. Papyrus was about three buildings down as I also have some papyrus near my priests with a bunch on the river. He would hoard the bread. He picked up 198 bread one time and then went...

Someone mentioned theme hospital in another thread and it had the same problem CoTN has. If there isn't a ton of hype, many local retailers will not order the game, so as to prevent having to discount it later. Unproven games fall in this category. The only way to get them is on-line usually. The pr...

Shopping priest

I thought the lazy scribe's wife was the funniest. Now, I have another one. A shopping priest. All he does is go pick up bread, then shop. He goes home and rests. Then he shops again. I would destroy his house and another priest would pick up his bad habits. It was like an epidemic, no one working b...

sim city just seems devoid of character. I tried several versions the last was sim city 3000. I played all the sierra city builders and would recommend them highly. I also like tropico 1 much better than tropico 2.

I have all three rollercoaster tycoons. The expansion packs for both 1 and 2. (which weren't all that fun.) Not sure whether to get the expansion for rct3 or not. I do like all three of them all though 2 is almost an expansion of one. Someone asked earlier about Theme Hospital. I have that and love ...

I only leave my game running for minutes at a time. If I leave the computer for very long, someone else wants to use it, so I have to quit anyway. It usually doesn't take that long to finish a game anyway, unless it is a sandbox for fun.
