I know this is old and TheGrad has passed on but I found this campaign and
decided to give it a try. I just finished the first city and thought in honor of TheGrad I would go ahead and post my screen shots and say how much I enjoyed playing it.

It's really weird, but when I do PrintScreen on the Victory screen all it shows is my desktop! I don't know how it's getting the desktop when my game is running in full screen mode but anyway I guess I will keep trying. EDIT: DUH! It transferred the screen captures directly to the Snapshot directory...

Victory Screen Captures

I know this must have been discussed somewhere on this forum,
but for the life of me I cannot find any of the posts through searching.

How do I capture the Victory screen? I have tried print screen but all I get
is my desktop.

I run on Win 7 with absolutely no problems. I use mods, tiles and I have all the settings at maximum. Of course, I have a really high end machine that I built myself but that shouldn't make a difference as long as you have Win 7 it should install fine. I am running Alexandria.

Actually, I won't be doing them in Alex, for a couple of reasons. 1. Not everyone has Alex (though most do), and that would mean that those people can't play the campaign, which would be bad. (And an that note, I think it is terrible that Alex scenarios won't play on 1.3 and earlier, but it was not...

Yay!! I would love another campaign! I hope you include the Great Works from Alexandria in it and have some scenarios without military. I am working on what will eventually be a campaign too.

If you need any testing I would be happy to help.

Yes, and I can also see that your desk is a shrine to CotN, especially with that big screen. What can I say, I really love this game! I just wish we had the software so that we could make changes and mod it more. I really hope they add another expansion pack. I would gladly pay full price for it. I...

My favorite is Bast or Bastet the Cat Goddess. She was originally known as the defender of Pharaoh and later of Ra which gave her the name Lady of Flame and Eye of Ra. Bubastis (the Greek name) was her original city and where her cult was centered. The Egyptian name of the city was Per-Bast. Her rol...

I use to start with 2 nobles but I found they just don't produce enough food so now I start with 4 and then add as I need them.

I thought this was odd too but have never found a way to delete anything that shops need or villagers such as Myrrh Trees, Pomegranate Trees, Acacia Trees, rushes, etc.

New Water Tile

I created a water tile that basically replaces the Orange Plaza Tile in the game. I found I didn't use the orange tile very much but I always wanted a water tile to place canals in front of pyramids. This tile goes in the D:\Program Files (x86)\Tilted Mill\Children of the Nile\data\Graphics\terraint...

They are in the graphics - monuments - texture folder.

What I couldn't figure out at first is that each statue graphic holds 2 or more statutes. Once I figured that out all I had to do was figure out which statues were which.
