Default Wha??

Okay, so I decided to try to reinstall Caesar 4 after a HDD failure and replacement . . .

I looked in Steam, where I'm sure I bought it. Nothing.

Then I looked in Impulse / GameStop - nothing.

I know I bought it digital, and those are the only two platforms I use.

Was it pulled?

Also, I was surfing to caesariv.com, and it's a parked page. WTF?

Went to Tilted Mill's website, latest news is 2009!

Is Tilted Mill dead?

Can I get help finding Caesar 4?

Since the economy got worse a year or so ago, most activity has slowed to less than a crawl. TM is still alive, but not active to any great degree.

The Caesar IV page was owned by Sierra. Sierra is no more. They merged in to Activision in March 2009.

Caesar IV is probably still out there but not supported by Sierra any longer. TM's board is about as official as your gonna get there. For patches try the Caesar IV Heaven website.

Steam doesn't have Caesar IV now. But you can find it on Direct2Drive.com for $15 US. Their site also has the patch available too.

You can get a boxed version from Amazon.com from $9.47 or less. The Caesar IV HG patch files only work with the boxed version.

If that's not enough just Google "Caesar IV buy"

I know this is a really long time replying . . .

. . . but I actually had it on disk. Was looking through my games and found it.

Too bad all this happened, though. Sierra was a great company, they will be missed.

It was only a matter of time when it was first sold back in 1997 and then again later to Vivendi Entertainment. The sellout to Activision was very sudden.
