I think you'll find the people here are friendly and helpful. It's chocked full of information on how to play the other Tilted Mill games, Children of the Nile, Caesar IV, SimCity Societies, Mosby's Confederacy, and Hinterland.
The board has been asleep for quite a while with registrations disabled to discourage spambots and spammers. Just be patient and things will get busier eventually. This was a very active board at one time.
Of course, if you have questions about any of the TM games, feel free to ask them in the appropriate board for that game. I or someone else will generally have answers for you.
For now, just kind of browse through the old messages in all of the games that might interest you. There is some interesting stuff just sitting there waiting for someone to read it. Check out the various screenshot threads created by players for most of the games and get a look at the cities we have all built in the past. It might give you the bug to go out and buy the game. You can get Children of the Nile very cheaply as a digital download via STEAM or Direct2Drive. I prefer using STEAM (
www.steampowered.com) myself.
