Default White screen

When i launch my Caesar v 1.11 i only see a white screen and if i wait i can see my cursor to i hear the souds of caesar though

what shall i do to play ceasar couse im a huge fan of the series..

Could you post your DxDiag file please? It might be a video driver issue, or your video card is too old. But we can't say anything for sure until we see your DxDiag.

Thank you, it worked perfectly.

Unfortunately you have only an onboard video chip running in your pc. That chip does not support T&L, a feature that is required to run C4.

I think you're not running a notebook, right? Then you probably have the option to install a real video card. You have to find out what graphic slot your mainboard supports. Your manual should give you more information on that or the Dell support. Often it's either the older AGP slot or the new PCI-Express slot.

According to the Dell Support Forum the OptiPlex GX270 should be able to accept a true video card. You may want to check that avenue out and install a video card in your sysem. Check with Dell for their recommendations, but remember you need a card that is DX9 hardware compliant to play Caesar IV.
