Ok so I'm playing the last part of the tutorial. Goal 1000 population and 75 in favor with Rome. Now my city passed 1000 peopel a long time ago, but the favor is worse it started at 25 only. I gave him a medium gift so it went up a bit, but I can't afford to bribe my way up to 75, and he doens't seem to give me any request, neither have I seen any signs of invasion and now my food stocks is gettign low, with no more land to place fields on.
I played for about a 18 months so will this chance, does somethign happen that will boost my favor to rome? |

I had pop @ 2000 for a while and was wondering how it would end but once I'd built an army and repelled invaders it gave me a win.
I remember there was no Favour rating requirement. I suspect that as it's a tutorial supposedly about the military aspect of the game, then it won't let you win until you've had at least the one fight. |

Ah it worked. I just put the game on full speed and soon I was order to stockpile 10 weapons. since my weapon industri had been up and runnign for long that was fast doen, then the option to build a forst, messhall and recrtuimenthall was opened, and as soon as I got a full cohort the babaraisn attack. Thougth with tier fightng skill it looked like 2-3 of my soldierds coudl have driven them back.

You can beat the barbarian invasion in Brundisium with just guards on the wall or tower.

Many people got a ratings requirement of 75 favor in Brundisium. It is not real. I don't remember seeing such a goal, myself.
To win, you were just supposed to complete the objectives as the tutorial said. Last edited by MarkDuffy; 11-22-2006 at 12:25 PM. |
