C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\SimCity™ Societies\Data
I don't know what operating system you're using but this is for Windows XP. In this directory you will find a text document called "New Constants". Hit ctrl-F and type in starting and you should find an entry called: RandomMap/StartingSimoleans;int;50000 about midway down the text file. I didn't test it but I think you should be able to change that number and it will affect your starting money. C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\SimCity™ Societies\Data\XMLDb\Game\Objects\BUILDINGS If you visit this directory, again this is the default path for Windows XP, you will find several xml files, each individually named for the building in the game they represent. You have to open that file in notepad and look close to the bottom of the text strings and find the strings that start with: UnlockPrerequisite Either change those values to what you want or erase the whole string from the xml file and that should either open up or change the conditions of your buildings being unlocked or unlockable. Always remember to backup the files you modify first and then make a note of what you did just incase you don't like the results you can easily go back and fix it. And I'm not totally certain on this, but I think the haciendas are listed as ranch, ranch b, and ranch c and the pubelos are listed as bungalow, bungalow b, and bungalow c. |
