as it is now it doesn't work well at all
![]() some things are ignored while others are stressed to much ![]() here is one suggestion of rank calculation (of course it must be tweaked during the beta ![]() legend: name, number of points city, city number x 100 laborers, 10 ships, 50 sending a FULL ship to another player (travel time>24h), 15 sending a FULL ship to another player (travel time<24h), 25 sending a ship to another player, 0.25 producing bread, 5 producing/selling 1 clay wheat or reed, 1 producing/selling bricks baskets or pottery, 5 producing/selling sandals, sculpture, 25 producing/selling cosmetics, perfume, jewelry, 50 producing/selling bronze cedar kohl henna leather oil emeralds gold, 15 buying stuff - 1/2 the points building lvl x building, x times 5 market lvl x, x times 5 producing 1 spearman, 25 producing 1 archers, 35 producing 1 charioters, 45 sending a scroll, 0.25 chatting 0.01 have yourself added as an ally, 25 etc... if i missed anything complain here etc... if you think numbers should be changed, discuss, this is just an idea thank you ![]() Last edited by b0x0rz; 11-23-2008 at 07:56 AM. |

I think Donations should weigh in more heavily
people pay good bread to donate... but the bread is worth more than the donations? why even keep a record of it if it doesn't affect rank? don't forget about market purchases and sales |

How about instead of just a gamescore, we get individual achievements, eg Xbox360 style/WoW Style.
As you suggested at the top, getting achievement for reaching a certain level, for making a trade, donating to temples etc They could be purely decorative or you could get a bonus like after you have built 25 boats, your ship speed improves? |
