Default Bad visuals...don't know how to fix

I just got the game, downloaded the patchs and installed them.

But...

When I run the game, even if I set the visual setting to Best Preformance, it still blurrs and lags. If I swing the camera to the left or right or up or down, everything blurrs together and takes about 4 or 5 seconds to catch up and I can't even play.

I have a decent system with a good 3d video card. Nvidia GeForce FX 5200. I have the updated drivers for it and all. I have plenty of RAM and a well above average processor.

Anyone know what the problem might be or how I could resolve this?

Latest NVIDIA drives give this problem. You should revert to 61.77 drives which work fine.

Bah, It be a lot simpler if Nvidia fixes thier darn drivers so folks won't have to be switching back and forth between games...

I got the same problem with my Nvidia GeForce card (with latest driver). But there was a simple solution to this; I set the color depth to 16 within game.
