Default A growing city

In COTN there is so few evolving for the different building types. I would really like to see that the town eveolves a bit more by its looks as people get some money. Even a famer will like to live in a stone building but ofcourse this will cost him a lot. so maybe thay can be granted or they can but stuff to enhance their homes with rather than the auto evolving in emperor. By this you could really enjoy the wealth of your city as all farmes have nice and clean houses not a mud or wooden hut they start in besides that a farmer moves into a shop and evolves into a shop keeper.

In COTN you needed brigs to build some certain types of buildings but this is was more like a time sink than a challenge.

For C4 i would really hope for a city of wood that for example burns easily but later on growths into a city of stone that evn gets a cleaner look later on.

If things are bound to resources now and can't be build of thin air i believe this would be a big improvment.

It would be a pian if you could not build all types of required buildings immideately but let them be only of wood or something and than let them evolve into stone buildings as the city grows and the resources are available.

I wish this for roads as well!

Let me plot a mud-road system immideately but than if i have bricks and rocks let me enhance all these to real streets and places with speed and beauty gains later on!

At first a muddy and woody brown city and later on a bright red and white star as the screenshots show us!

And mud street for free, paving them should cost something, I would like that you can control houses evolution, so you decide when upgrade it, but only if there are appropriate cityzens it would be inhabited.

This fits well with my request for more "construction projects" which included roads. The Roman roads of stone should be a construction project that require resources and men to build. They should also enable faster movement of troops to the frontier and easier trade between cities.
