They mention that buildings will evolve one or two tiers in this one. Patrician housing have 8 levels.

So far the reviews are very positive, thats good to hear, I guess I can stop worrying about all the competition.

They all seemed pleased with what they have seen so far. Right now on 1UP the game is listed as their #1 strategy game based on the number of hits its getting about Caesar IV.

gotta love the user hype level atm: right now its at "OMG!"...how cool is that

just so people know what this means :P....heres the possible hype levels a game can have

ZERO - No excitement whatsoever.
BLAH - Very little interest.
O.K. - On the radar.
HOT! - Lots of positive interest.
OMG! - People can't wait for it.

with all the appraisal after the E3 expo, there has to be some critique about caesar IV.

Default evolution between 2 pics.
Okay, you may have seen it already but just for those who don't have laser-eyes :watch and enjoy 2 pics from a same neighborhood, taken with a slightly different angle

Pics on IGN with number ending with 449924 and 438096

on the right side, close ti the aqueduct, you can see a house evolving (1 floor added)
Also behind what must be the market, a big building evolving.
and of course variation of the daylight mmmmm....

The thing I find most interesting in their preview is the release date. They say 07/01/06. (Of course, I don't believe it. )

I had problems the first time I tried the link too. I just went to the home page (erased everything in the browser address after the first single / ) and did a search. Second time I went back, Keith's link worked. Not really sure if it means anything.

Yes, I had that problem too. I just kept trying to reload and if that failed opened a new browser window and tried again. It's them. I was going to email them to advise them but didn't get around to it.

1 July would be around a month after Heart of Empire: Rome and Glory of the Roman Empire. Sadly the wait will be longer.
