Shadow errors.

Demo played fine until today.
I was changing game options ( shadows and the like) and now when I start, there are long black streaks across the screen. They start at objects, so I'm guessing they are shadows.
I restarted the game and it played fine ( no saves!!!)
But now they have showed up again.
Game loads fine, first screen shows ( showing the land) and then as soon as I move the mouse...Blam long streaking shadows!
They are long! ....almost the length of the screen.
I'll check my card...God! I hope it's not that!( I just got it back from PNY!)

You can disable shadows from the game settings menu too if they bother you. Other than that it could be video card or video driver related.

I also had this happen to me once... but then I refreshed the shadows (toggling them off then on again) they returned to normal and never happened again

This is a known issue with restarting games or loading new ones with the day/night checkbox unchecked. King Faticus's workaround works for most folks: toggling shadows should fix the problem.
