COTN Micro expansions

Postby Solice » Fri Aug 07, 2009 3:55 am

What ever happened to the idea of more expansions like Alexandria for COTN? there was a lot of talk about it, then nothing. Too bad, I would love more.

Hard times, I would guess. Game development takes money and they are probably hurting like most businesses.

Alexandria was released less than one year ago. What are you talking about?

Nile Online is COTN II & went public outta beta early this year!

Hinterland Orc Lords was just released!

TM has done more in the last two years than most companies their size could ever do.

Patience, please. :)

The interesting thing is that TM just never tells us what's in the works untill they are ready for the 1st closed betas. Even then we only get a working title and a basic idea. My guess is that they are working on the next game and probably getting close to letting us know.

Hopefully a nice November-December release of the next city builder "Persia".

I think you misinterpreted my question. I was asking if there were any plans to make more microexpansions to Children of the Nile specifically, or if that had changed. From what was said back when it was released it sounded like there would be more of them coming out throughout the year, so I was wondering if TM had to go in a new direction.

I liked Alexandria, I felt it was worth the price and I think COTN is probably the most under rated city builder out there.

So I promise to be patient, if you promise to relax.

Which I why I was hoping micro expansions would work for them. A new building and maybe a couple new missions would hopefully not take to long to make and help keep money rolling in.

But then I dont have their sales/cost data, so who knows.
