What to Play or buy?

Postby Lstewart4 » Wed Apr 28, 2010 6:44 pm

I am kinda looking to play a Tilted Mill game, and the question is- Caesar IV, or Children of the Nile, (I own both, never really understood the mechanics of COTN) or buy and play Hinterland or Sim City Societies/Destinations. Which is the best of the 4 and why?

After i made this, i discovered the Poll for best TM game, and it seems COTN is the most popular. I got that game a few years ago, played a few of the first campaign scenarios, and had a lot of trouble and stopped. i have been playing Caesar IV, but my computer is not very powerful, and even on the lowest settings, it gets slow on the larger maps. Any forms or websites that has some basic strategy and such for COTN?

You have their two best games. Save up some cash and buy yourself a true gaming computer with a powerful CPU and highend graphics card. ;)

I would recommend to read through these forums for all the hints and tips for both games.
Personally I feel that C4 and COTN are the 2 best CB games out there by any company. SCS is pretty fun for a while but it did not seem to have the re-playability of C4 and COTN for me at least.

Give COTN another try once you understand the way everything works (the tutorials are great) the game is fun and quite a great waste of time while being very entertaining!

Yep, lots of us in the COTN section, or any forum section to help with TM Games gameplay.

And add TM's Mosby's Confederacy to the must buy list also & then there is Nile Online too!

You won't find any walkthroughs, but post a problem you are having and you will receive a quick answer(s).

If you are up to reading, this thread should help.

I have all except Ceaser and they are all good.

the best i think are c4 and cotn, for a gameplay more complete, but i've scs and it's a nice game but very different to the series, it's not a simcity but fun.
