Pharaoh takes a vacation

Postby thegrad » Tue Jan 08, 2008 6:03 am

In this scenario the monument building for this pharaoh is real, everything else is pure speculation. This map is 100 X 100. I hope you have fun with this game.

Hi thegrad!
While looking at your city photos I noticed that your Palace is golden (yellow) and the temple is red. Where did you get the files from for these two changes? I already found the plazas & colored townhouses posted from the King Faticus, :D but haven't ran across these yet. I want these badly!!!!

Fantastic scenario. The brick tiles on the ground were a very nice touch.
Thanks!

I'm so very glad you're enjoying CoTN and these colour mods for it. And thanks for your lovely words for me. :o :)
BTW did you have a close look at the palace front yard? There is a pretty Sun and Moon Palace design there.

Grad -- as always another fun scenario but I don't know about snow in the desert -- easy scenario and a nice map -- I like when you give me bricks and basalt. A fairly straight forward city for me -- I was trying out a new neighborhood design for the nobles. Comments anyone?

I know you have heard of the movie "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" which was set in Africa. Well that is where my pharaoh went on his vacation. Remember the desert is really hot in the summer.

Love the new layout of the city, but could not see how people could get to the bakery. I don't think you can make a bad city, they are all so beautiful.
Thank you for playing and posting your snapshots.

Grad -- Know the movie well -- but I like using the plain plaza and it was exactly the same color as the snow. The bakery seems to work -- it looks like people go through the corner. You should see some of the earlier versions of each city before I put all my brick builders to work while I rebuild.
