Welcome to the Caesar IV Forums!

Postby Chris Beatrice » Thu Aug 18, 2005 4:22 pm

The entire Tilted Mill team and I welcome fans, friends, and anyone else who wants to help us build and support another thriving and mutually supportive community. We need you! And we hope you will visit the forums often, to converse with members of the Caesar IV development team and the city-building community.

We are thrilled to be involved with the Caesar series again, and are just as excited to get your thoughts about city-building, and what you would like to see in Caesar IV specifically, so please don't be shy. For those of you who have active members of other Tilted Mill forums, please help us create the same type of positive, non-flaming yet free open atmosphere you have enjoyed before.

With sincerest appreciation for all your support and enthusiasm,

-Chris Beatrice & Jeremiah ‘Reed’ Freyholtz

Yesterday i looked into the TM Forums and really wondered why they where down for maintenence. I feared they would be downsized as there wasn't really anything up for a sad long time.

Then 5 minutes ago i looked into 3DGamers.com and I couldn't believe my eyes "Ceasar IV Movie"!

I am really overjoyed about this! To be excatly i am nearly bursting into tears of happiness. I though things didn't go well for TM with no update of the COTN homepage for a month and now this!

A brand new Ceasar game! A dream comes true. I never expected to see this and i am really happy: The screens and the movie look great and i hope the tilted mill will get a lot of wind in its sails and grind us some more great games we can enjoy over the next years!

Yours,

Karsten

Caesar 2 was my first city builder, and I looked for all the Impressions titles after that. I'm also wonderfully thrilled about C4!! I can hardly wait to get my little buggy hands on it! :D

Ah, Caesar 2 was my first too. "Plebs are needed." I'm getting a little misty eyed just thinking about it. :o

Like so many others my first introduction into city building was with Caesar III ,and that seems so long ago.It was by accident that i came across the news of Caesar IV and what great news it was.
The gods are with us.

I am beside myself at such wonderful news!!! C3 was my first City Builder and I am extremely emotionally attached to it still. This is the best gaming news of the year!

Wow!!!

I've been following this series since C2. I have to say that this is very good news. It is really a dream to think I'll be able to play C4.

As for the hopes....
I hope that the game doesn't drifft too far from C3.

In my opinion the perfect game would have been Pharaoh with the upgrades of Emperor.

I don't know if I'm alone here but I liked the C3 series more than I liked COTN.

Anyway I just wanted to express the feeling of great expectation. I hope you get an even bigger inspiration than you did with C3.

Looking forward to playing...

Numerobis.

Even though I didn't jump in until C3, I was a semi fan. I got into CBs by purchasing the Great Empires collection which had C3, Pharaoh, and Cleopatra. At the time my only real complaint was that Caesar 3 seemed somehow more "outdated" than Pharaoh. I had hoped I'd see a sequel, and now, here it is!! :D

Caesar IV is good news

Postby Thucydides » Tue Aug 23, 2005 4:23 am

Hi all,
I am delighted that Caesar IV has been announced. The original Caesar was one of the first games that grabbed my attention and I have enjoyed every game in the series since as well as sister games such as Cleopatra and Zeus (which I enjoyed beta testing). I am testing another god/strategy game at the moment, but I already look forward to loading Casar IV on my machine!
a warm hello to old friends on this site and cheers to all
Robert
