Very nice. :) How do you build these things? Do you use a 3d modelling program (3d Studio Max, Studio Maya, etc.) or does "Second Life" have its own builder program?

@Azeem: The building tools are um.. built in lol. Everything 3D is built from four primitive shapes (cube, cylinder, circle, or torus) with images (textures) applied to the surfaces. You link the prims and voila!

For photorealistic looks, you use textures already in-game or you make your own using photographs and image editor and uploading them.

Example 1: The helicopters, flags, radar tower and runway below were all made by aviation fans. As C4 fans, we party planners are making C4-esque stuff :) .

Example 2: This interpretive recreation of selected Alexandria features (Hepastadion, Cleopatra's Needle, Temple of Isis, Pharos Lighthouse) has been built from prims. Texturing has just begun as see the obelisks. The remaining structures, yet to be textured, retain their plywood default texture.

We had some more visitors from TM forums yesterday, sorry guys if I seemed so busy but I was giving a ribbon 'class'. :o
Do come often to see the place. :)

In this pic you can see Kiya sitting on a bench she is building, watching a screenshot from C4 as her guide.
On the right you can see KF's column still under construction.

Mau darling, don't 'blame' yourself. At least half of the blame, if not more, goes to the 'instructor' and her self-made tutoring. :p :D

We will do it again AND we are going to ignore that happy little puppy all together while we are 'ribboning'. ;) :)

He knows what happens to naughty doggies who start getting too cheeky. I warned him last night it would either be the vets or a DIY 2 bricks job. He asked me if it would hurt and I told him 'no, only if I get my thumbs stuck between the bricks.' Oh God spare us from the old jokes. :D

Oh Angel, you should be sending masses of little fairies around you while they look like cute angels! ;) :)

Yesterday when Schmo, Mau and me were discussing my bench project (which btw is finally done what comes to the marble bench itself :D ) zillions of little butterflies, fairies and pink rose petals were floating all around us. :D For once I was too busy not to take a pic of that! :D

Here is another pic for you all: Kiya at the market admiring some of the things KF made. They are free to take in case you want to have one. ;) Of course C4 market needs more stuff. hint hint HINT...

Angel, your outfit is cute and very Roman like. :) I like it.

Here are Mau, KF and me sitting on a marble bench in the finished little park. Isn't it pretty, the park I mean! :o :) The fountain on the screenshot on a board behind us is still under construction but almost finished too. Water already in it, and I am sure (? I hope! :) ) Schmo will put rippling water sound in it too! :)
