Water problems

Postby mklangelo » Sat Nov 27, 2010 2:36 pm

I build a pump-house and reservoir connecting them with aqueducts but no workers will come to work them.

How can I get that done?

Thanks in advance.

Howdy, mklangelo!

The usual answer to this is that water, as a service, requires Equite labor. You have a few Domus residences placed?

Good Luck! :)

Make sure that the pump house is actually in a area considered next to the water source and that it is properly connected to the reservoir with aquaducts. The angle of view can some times lead one to believe that a connection has been made when it hasn't been properly aligned.

You need equites living in your city to man the pumphouse. There are some jobs that only they can fill. Build a few domus and make sure you have a luxury market with stocked with luxury goods to help keep them happy.

If you still have problems attach a copy of your current save game file to your post using the Manage Attachments button below message area when typing a new message. Being able to actually see the problem first hand really helps when solving problems you may be having.
