Speaking of, does putting in two streets like that actually assist traffic? I seem to remember it didn't work properly in SC2000 or SC3000.

You know... altered a little, the Office Building and Corperate Hive would make nice looking Flats/Apartment Buildings.

Only one entrance.

Flats and apartment buildings have multiple entrances/exits.

Sometimes, if you zoom in to look at something closer, you can find yourself looking at a beautiful background.

These are some screenshots I did awhile ago. I did have a complete town but I never did screencaps of it unfortunately. It was really neat to have a working island town and it was made up of buildings that you would sterotypically think of a small island like gardens and huts.

Adjust the slider under advanced settings when generating the map, and make it about 95% water.

Just don't expect to be able to build much on it. :)

Even when I adjust the slider all the way, the map is still 45% land...

well im just starting out this city:

Captiatopolis

it has a central downtown area with either 4 or 5 (that could change) roads from the central downtown area that leads to venues and homes. like one road for slums and dive bars and another for the rich people!

anyway on to the pix!
