Cool. Glad to see people are still into this. The hardest seems to be the Industrial (though I do believe I managed to get the interface to change for mine), because people get unhappy about the pollution.

Let's see some more city journals, too. :)

there off the downtown area. the downtown is the center of the city and the homes and venues branch off from the downtown roads. i'll try to get more pix of the houses. the only housing that is in the downtown district are the CyberCorp Housing blocks. :)

Hello
I thought that I could post some screens of my newest cities in Societies.
At the moment I´m working on two scenarios and I hope that I can post some pics of these cities later, too.

Nice shots

Yeah I like the over the water shot as well. Flipping through the screen shots gave me some good ideas. I'll try and come back with some screenshots myself.

A test...

This is an industrial city I created on the demo... yes, that is a car dealership in the middle of an industrial zone...

It was called "New Prague", and once I reinstall the full version I'll recreate it...

I suck at Hardcore mode

Postby Dark Paladin X » Tue Mar 09, 2010 2:55 pm

This is me trying to build a Corporate based city in Hardcore mode. Needless to say, I failed miserably due to inability to maintain the budget and keeping the sims NOT pissed:

Yep, keeping up with your budget is nigh impossible.

EDIT: You may notice that the maintenance is at 0%. I did that intentionally because my budget is sucking so badly.

Just curious... why are there no people in the screen shots?

I am thinking of buying this game but would like to see the people that are living in the city...

Howdy, ValerieC!

There are tons of people on the sidewalks & vehicles in the street. You are looking at images zoomed waaay out. We can zoom in very close & even click on the people & vehicles.

One thing that distinguishes SCS from other city building type of games is the remarkable variety of sims that inhabit your cities. You won't only see lots of people carrying on with daily life in your city, you'll also see a huge variety of them. ;)
