I have this game, and some of these pics have resurrected a desire to play it again.Currently am playing COTN but I think I will have a go on this tonight :D
Some fantastic looking screens so far!
I think an Orwellian themed society based on Orwell's '1984' will be my first attempt.Looking forward to posting some shots of that when i'm done.

The Savannah cities at about 4 AM have some really lovely northern-lights like displays in the sky. I only wish the camera could tilt straight up. :(

Check the little round icon at the bottom left of the screen. I think it's the top one above the icon that looks like a city skyline. Select that and then deselect the little icons that show building/Sim status icons.

Westmoorland is a small European city. This is a shot of the center square at night.

though you probably aren't active here anymore, that shot is magically beautiful. Great work with the camera, and im sure every member of the TM has to smile when they see their work of art.

Some images from some of my latest

This is Pinkerton. It turned out to be this awesome tourist city, with a strong spiritual foundation. But the campus was what made me smile most. It was so very ornate.

Image

Greybanks. I tried some of the things I've seen here on the forum, using small "villages," on the map for flavor. This one turned out spooky and beautiful. Later, Greybanks went from spooky and dark to spooky and very bright. It was fantastic.

Just thought I'd share, since I was reminded that I love this game. The only reason I stop playing is that I realize I can lose HOURs and hours, and I have too much to do otherwise. But it's a fantastic meditation to try and make a beautiful town or scene.

Thank you.

love the spooky theme in your pictures, rarely see those put into play, but they make a adventurous suspense. Maybe a journal of your Greybanks? ;)

*and btw do you have the spooky theme mod or the christmas one, so I can add it to the mod compliation?*

I think I might have the spooky theme mod, but I don't know about the Christmas one. I'll have to look.

And thank you both for your kind comments. :)

pcgamer2: I haven't quite found the zip files for these yet. If I do, I'll let you know. I know I've got the files in general, because they're part of the game now. But I downloaded a bunch of mods in early 2010. Don't remember where I put them all from a storage point of view.... Sorry. I will keep looking.
