Simtopia 2014 (City Journal)

Postby bearblue » Fri May 23, 2014 8:06 pm

I forgot to change out the name when I started, so this city is legitimately Simtopia in my game. But I have an earlier Simtopia, so I had to distinguish it somehow. Thus: Simtopia 2014.

So, pics!

Simtopia 2014 is a happy little town. It was that way right from the start.

Even the cows loved life.

Image

This might be because it had a very high spirituality quotient. Or just a lot of decorations.

Image

Still, the sims went to work and visited venues and were joyful in general.

Of course, the Elder's Council and the wild Monks kept things sensible.

Image

Or maybe it was the grand masters who kept the Monks sensible. They certainly showed up more often in this city than in any of my others.

Simtopia 2014 (City Journal) pt. 2

Like others, this city grew, developing slowly, but surely into what it would become later.

It was a spiritual haven, even when things got stormy.

(and that's pretty much how this city was - it was either incredibly beautiful weather or it was hurricanes.)

People came in droves to enjoy the cuisine, the shops, the churches and the town.

But there were some really great parks to visit too.

Simtopia 2014 had a really awesome University too.

Image

Did I mention it was seriously spiritual?

Image

Yeah, and of course, more places to visit and do things than you could shake a stick at.

And that is Simtopia 2014. :)

I agree. I love looking at what other people have done, just to see what ideas spark. Thank you for your kind comments. :)

I get in a bit of a rut with my cities, glad to have other ideas to play off.

Me too about the ideas. It's one of the reasons I really like the city journals (especially with the ones that still have pics).

And yep, I love your stuff Azeem. :) So thank you for all your Modding effort. :)
