Made a few adjustments. Next up are two more variations of the Traditional House and then two variants of "New Village" Homes. :)

The nice thing about the game's pre-existing Japanese Traditional Homes is that their shape is so generic that a little re-texturing goes a long way. :D

First complete Korean housing pack is now up for download. :D

Next up is a fix for the Nonghyup Bank, the Village Office, and then a modern homes housing pack.

I'm doing a few rural Korean workplaces.

First up is the village office:

Been a bit busy with real life issues lately so I haven't been able to get much done in SCS modding. The most recent thing I've been editing are the Pueblo graphics to replace the Korean Modern Housing graphics. There are some still little oddities in the look of it, but it'll be done maybe next week or so. Also will be doing a retextured props pack with a Korean theme.

I'm starting to put together the themes and metrics for the Korean-specific SCS society styles. Still contemplating which to use as the "base."

This is what I'm thinking of doing so far:
1) Eup-myeon / Sigol [Korean Rural]
-"Small Town"; similar to SCS's Small Town theme with small businesses, single family homes, and agricultural buildings
-Emphasizes Productivity and Devotion
-Theme Music: Janggu-chum

2) Jeontong [Traditional]
-"Contemplative"; roads are same as SCS's Contemplative theme, but signs would be in Korean; a Traditional style town would essentially be a Hanok Village with traditional tea houses, pavilions, temples, and Confucian academies
-Emphasizes Knowledge and Devotion
-Theme Music: Buchae-chum

3) Gwangyeok-si [Metropolitan]
-Probably a mix between Cyberpunk and Capitalist; a more Seoul-like feel with corporate skyscrapers and high-rise luxury apartments
-Emphasizes Wealth and Knowledge
-Theme Music: Sin Puri

4) Yusin [Authoritarian-Industrial]
-A mix between Authoritarian and Industrial, based on the society of 1960s-1970s South Korea; mostly big factories and repressive state apparatuses to force people to keep in line with the dictatorship's policies
-Emphasizes Wealth and Productivity
-Theme Music: ?

I think this one would be great :D

3) Gwangyeok-si [Metropolitan]

Been a bit busy lately, but I'll try to get two things done this week or early next week - a clothier and a small commercial building. Being right in Seoul right now helps quite a bit on ideas for Korean buildings. :D

A Small Commercial Building. Not sure about the color...

Do the boards light up at night? If so it will look great in my Cyberpunk city, with a different color like you said. ;)

What color should the building be? And yes, the billboards do light up at night. :D

Maybe the blue the builbing originally was without the flames, but if that's putting a damper on your Korean theme, then the color you have it now is fine with me.

P.S. I don't mean to be a bother, but does the fence in the back and the roof look nicer than the original metal club does?

The building at night. Changed the wall colors back to blue. Also "fixed" the fence, too.

EDIT: Just realized that I spelled Seoul wrong in the sign. :o I'll fix that before I release it. :)

Very nice retextures. My first retexture was a complete flop. It looked like someone had threw paint all over it then put mud all over it then mixed it.

Updates are a bit slow in coming as I'm trying to get a new place and so things are a bit unstable now. Once I settle in, more stuff will be coming out. Being right in the middle of a Korean city means that I'll have no shortage of inspiration. :)

this looks super. Just does not want to install for me, what else is new, lol.

Good luck with the home hunting, that can be rather daunting.
