What is the differance between playing on medium and hard in this game?

Topic says it all really. I know the max numbers of educated workers is 35 for normal and 25 for hard, but what else?

Is there more bad floods and/or less harvest, do people get dissatisfied earlier, are there more raiders or something else that makes the game harder?

This is a good question. I tried searching for a good answer, but I'm coming up empty.

I'll answer off the top of my head, so I could easily be wrong.

First, the number of educated workers is reduced on Hard. This is a fact.

I believe also that people are more likely to protest on Hard, but I can't confirm it.

There are not any additional calamities as far as I remember.

That said, reducing the number of educated workers by 10 will drastically reduce the size of your city. On certain scenarios that makes city management a real struggle, as it's tough to build a large enough, well-functioning city, especially without a suitable number of priests and scribes.
