Comander

I would have chosen Pharaoh, cuz that was my last job, but it isn't an option. ;)

well, naturally I would be Cleopatra in "real" life..but since that's not an option,

I would be one of the palace princesses, 'cause they do absolutely nothing but lay around all day, yet they get all the perks.
As my husband says, I was born for royalty. ;) :D

so, can't vote in your poll....too many of the "little people"

Of the available choices, I pick sandalmaker.

Very peaceful job, crafting sandals, chatting with passersby, and bartering over the sale prices, while my wife and child do all the shopping and resource gathering.

Plus, I have the opportunity to hire a servant, and eventually move into a noble townhome, if that silly pharaoh would build one for me. :p

In my 'former life' I was a Scribe as my last assignment, but before that I loved to be a Weaver (used that as my avatar). Nothing that I really like in your list, so no vote from me. :o

If I didn't have to go out in drag, I'd be the Priest. ;)

I'd be a scribe's wife and sit around and brush my hair all day.

Yep, this is how those things work! Also, NEVER put an other or none of the above in.

If they play, they must choose! :D

EDIT:

Both wrong. :D

My KIDS murder cows, as I did before them, and my father before me. It is a grand tradition in the Yahya household, and I'll not be censured for it.

If we didn't do it, you would all spend your time in the apothecary, seeking balms for your swollen, gangrenous feet!

Bow before me!

City Commander for me!

Postby texasmine » Mon Jan 29, 2007 3:47 pm

In CoN, the City Commander wanders around the city, ordering troops to visit guard posts. Unlike real life, he has no dire consequences for not stopping raiders from entering the city. Nor does he have to train soldiers, go on campaign, etc. And if he doesn't get the luxury goods, food, and basic goods, he gets grumpy and leaves. What a life!

Actually, it's the only thing I don't like about CoN....It drives me crazy that I, as the Gods' representative on Earth, cannot punish a City Commander that allows my personal domain to be overrun by raiders. I should be able to dismember him, at least.
