Very bummed out

Gotta get a new CD drive. The old one no longer reads any discs.

Gotta do that, otherwise can't develop any 1.3 scenarios, cuz I need the disc to start original CotN.

If you don't want to mess around pulling out the old one get yourself a USB powered DVD drive like mine. Works great.

They are very cheap, Yahya. Couple of screws & plug the new in.

You will be back to speed quickly.

Good Luck! :)

Yeah, I'm gonna just get an external one, I think. Multi-functional that way.

Some externals require the use of a adapter or power supply, so watch out for that. My Samsung takes its power through the USB port.

Picked up an I/O Magic that uses USB, so I'm all set.

That means it's back to work tonight. Big plans I have. Big plans.

Well, with four CD/DVD's I don't worry about one giving up the ghost, which by the way just happened... Gotta look for another one now.

I have also got big plans. Got any ready made maps? I hate work.

I personally never use the game disc only for installing the game, obviously i can't discuss how i play the game without the disc but i'm sure you know already. I'm one of those who likes to keep the discs in perfect condition. More so now that the game shops near me don't stock COTN any more.
