Generic Hi post

Postby Tchrin » Tue May 04, 2004 6:18 pm

I think I get the honour to be the first non staff member to post :) Just received the press release, and after checking out the site I'm impressed. I'm a long time fan of other city building games (Pharaoh, Emperor, Zeus, Ceasar) & 'deeper' RTSs (Settlers, Cultures), as well as being a long time fan of A Tale in the Desert (which very loosely speaking is a MMOG game which revolves around human interaction, technology & city building). So CotN seems right up my street and I'll be watching it's development closely.

Looking around the site, I was wondering to what level the tech tree will be going to? Personally, I'm very much of a fan of deeper the better. Also how dependant on combat is the game? I like the way games like Pharaoh gave you the choice to do a more commerce led game if you wanted.

I would also like to say hi. I´m also a big fan of the city building series, and have gotten every game in it except caesar II and Zeus.

I really look forward to this game, as I like about every game the employees of Tilted Mill has made.

Hello!

I've been checking the site a lot the last couple of days. And finally, it's all up. I've been playing the Citybuilders since C3 and first visited the old Impressions board almost 3 years ago before becoming a regular visitor of HeavenGames and CityBuildingContests. Now.. off to read the stuff on the actual website. :D

Welcome, everyone! It's great to see visitors already, and to have an excuse to make my first post, too.

Time for me to get one on the board as well ;) .

I've already said this over at HG, but we're all looking forward to this one - looks like a true classic in the making!

I'm another who's been watching progress ever since the very start of Tilted Mill and am delighted that there's now a web-site for what looks as though it will be a very interesting and fun game :)

Heya crew! Been anxiously awaiting Tilted Mill's first project since you opened your doors; screenshots look great so far! Call me an Egyptian Tycoon! Especially looking forward to a quality soundtrack! The musical instrament section of the game site was very interesting!

Hi all,

Good to see so many of the usual suspects gathering already. The anticipation is most definitely building.

My only worry is that I'll need to keep a towel next to my PC to catch all the drool :)

Can't wait...

Alan

Same thing here, plus that I also worry that I'll probably spend more time here than I can spare ;)

Wow - so many people here.

Great job with the website guys..! You certainly know how to make us drool with anticipation. Yes, Alan - the usual suspects are gathering :)

This is gonna be one of the biggest smashes ever! And I feel proud to be part of it from the beginning...

Things look awesome. Like I said over at Heaven, I really like the flavour text on the moving figures :) The teasers are certainly great ;)

Nice to see so many familiar faces here too :D

I just want to say that I am thrilled that a new Citybuilding game is coming out. I just loved Impressions Game's citybuilding games, and Tilted Mill are the same people. This is going to be great. :)
