Basic Modding By Hand

Note all changes in bold. The following mods add/change:

- A camera that has some more freedom of movement than the "Free" Camera
- Building height offset that causes 'floaty' buildings is patched to make their heights look more reasonable on hilly ground

All directory names are relative to your Electronic Arts\SimCity Societies folder under Program Files (or Program Files (x86) depending on OS).

TODO:

1. Figure out how to update VideoCards.xml under VideoSettings to add all the new cards developed since SCS came out. I'm not sure exactly what SimCity Societies queries to get the graphics card ID, but it obviously looks for a numeric brand code as judged from these lines:

2. Also, figure out how to extend building name and description changes depending on "mood". Right now not all of them get changed when the UI mood shifts, so you end up with rather ridiculous things like Cube Apartments still insisting, in a Fun City, that interior decorating is discouraged, etc.

Apparently you can have different building text descriptions depending on your city type. Someone posted up modified building text files that reflected different city types, but I don't recall who it was.
