Very Happy with Hinterland

Postby MrCuddlyTiger » Tue Sep 30, 2008 10:30 pm

I don't buy many games... I'm quite the picky game player my wife always tells me.

But I read about Tilted's background, and the reasons and ideas behind Hinterland... So I decided to support this title.

I have to say I'm very pleased what what I got for $20. It isn't a top of the line flashy "next gen" title... but it sure is fun and inovative. The random world generation ensures lasting playability, and while still being very accessible the game can be quite challenging.

I'm not going to say the game is perfect, but it certainly shows potential for expansion.

Great job, and congradulations for pushing this thing out the door.

I'll surely be giving more feedback when I have spent more time with the game (only spent 3 hours on it so far... and it was hard to put down).

Sounds promising! I only got 20 minutes in (most was spent on fiddling with the options and picking from the nice range of characters) and really must go sleep now. Good to hear it holds up and eager to discover more of my uncharted hinterland!
