I am sorry for the delay and lack of information.

2 months and still nada. FOUR since the update was released via alternate channels.

Disappointing to say the least.

The Greenhouse version is active now. Just redownload the executable from "My Games".

Better communication on the corporate forums for both companies would be nice.

Agree that more fanfare, or even some direct contact could have been done, but I thought I posted it in the relevant threads when it went live in Sept. Obviously it wasn't enough.

Glad you guys are seeing it now though.

Hi Jeff,

I guess we will forgive you, we all know TM is pretty tight lipped.

;)

You are not supposed to be tight lipped about new releases!! Kind of misses the point.

But thanks for trying to let me off the hook.

What about the D2D release? The last patch is marked as february 2009

Wow, I missed the reply from Jeff.. :(

But it's true, TM historically does not self promote their upcoming titles very much if at all prior to the launch announcements. I would guess it's because of strict non disclosure agreements from the disty partners.

I know I for one would love to know what your all working on presently.

You should ask them if they have it.

I would be curious what their response would be because I thought it was all taken care of.

Apparently not. The tech guy does not seem to understand what I am talking about. I couldn't really make myself any clearer to him.

There is still no update for the D2D version from what I have seen, at the moment im speaking to a D2D senior support specialist to figure out why. But it would be nice to get further help from the people who made the game.

I'm so behind, but want to know first before I go next step for Hinterland :D

That is

Does Hinterland play in background like CotN?

No, it is not the kind of game where you will have it playing in the background.

There is really no waiting for things to build or gain resources. You go out and fight mobs to gain gold and items which you use to develop your town.

It is not a city builder but more an RTS with city building aspects and is designed for short gameplay sessions.

very fun!

Sure, if you want too, but with raiders on you might get burned. Besides, our score has a HUGE playtime factor multiplier.

I played Orc Lords via Steam version last night with both my Nile Online accounts in other windows, but when I left Hinterland, I paused. ;)

I just got Hinterlands on a download from Amazon. Is there an Orc Lords update for that, and if so where?

You probably already have Orc Lords. Check for the two Orc character starting characters. Orc Lord & Orc Shaman. If you have them, you are up to date.
