Balance Tweaks
• Score modifiers for your difficulty setting have been rebalanced.
• When playing on easy; the maximum difficulty level of an encounter has been lowered.
• When playing on Difficult or Hardcore, enemies will group more frequently to fight you.

Bug Fixes

Tech Fixes
• Audio loading moved from pre-game to scenario creation (may fix some audio driver conflicts, improves game start time).
• Fixed an issue with some versions of DirectX 9.0c in particular installations of Vista and DirectX 10 that would cause crashes on start-up or when starting a mission.
• Switched to starting in windowed mode by default (may fix some crashes on start-up).
• Fixed a corruption issue with higher resolutions and the mini-map.
• Fixed a rare infinite loop in scenario creation that caused a lock-up on starting a new character
• Fixed an issue with the game resizing fonts more than necessary (may fix some crashes, particularly going to full-screen mode)

OOO if he asks for stuff we got in random chests, we are going to have a devil of a time saving all that stuff and not selling it!

Is this the "beta build?" or our hinterland build? Am off to ck thisout.. Do we have to clear out the data from the gold build?

Ok things I noticed as fixed the food counter now works :D
Had a Shaman who was stuck within a ruin, he couldn't get out and the only way to reach him was with a bow. He turned his back when I was shooting him with arrows so his bolts weren't touching me. Very hard to kill though only L3.
King's requests/demands are more in line with ability to pay.

Did not uninstall the final game just installed the beta.

Now, is this build the same that was released to the public that Reed has posted about on the front page?

EDIT: Seems to be the same build at this point.

I think this worked I did not have the immediate crash I was getting on previous builds.

Paul at least one of folks still having problem even with the patch is one of those with lack of free space  He seems to think having just 2gbs of free space on C drive will work because his page file is on another partition. As a matter of fact it actually makes things worse since it's not on the first partition so the page file is slower than usual. Since I don't have any offical standing (which I don't want or need) he won't listen. He will continue to be unhappy with Hinterland blaming the game for his system problem.

The other problem is in your patch feedback thread "dirthouse". He only has 10gb of free space with over 3gb set aside for the page file. That 7gb looks like alot but it's not for windows to shift files around and handle the background programs on an a 300gb hard drive.

Paul I spend alot of time trying to keep highend video editing systems running well and free space is a huge key in that process. Games I've found have similar requirements.

The Nvidia card users seem to have found a driver dated Sep 25th that fixes there problems.

A once resolved issue seems to reappeared!

The Profession Icons of followers in the Followers Screen are overlapping the character levels of the Follower Cards again.
