Why do you show incoming force levels????!!!!

Is there a randomness to the numbers or the exact levels? This makes raiding... complicated at best. Virtually eliminates raiding outside 5 nomes :(

Good :)

Though it doesn't eliminate it, it just means you have to know when people sleep...

Oh how charming [not] - sneaking in when people are asleep...

This sort of thing is why I do not play pvp 'games' - I am a sportsman with morals - not a cheating sly sneak

Doubling baskets/pottery and quadrupling luxuries seems... excessive. The military resources REALLY need some love - taking a monument now consumes about the same luxury resources as two shop upgrades to level 5. (40 troops of each type is 800, two level 5s is 754.) That's pathetically low, especially since massive upgrades to pottery and basket shops are now called for.

There was a temp bug w/ baskets/pottery. Those are unchanged.

And here I've been pitching this game to my friends as being like Travian minus the really horrible parts that got us all to stop playing it. I guess it was only a matter of time before they got around to patching in the horrible parts. :(

See the other thread(s), if you worry about these things you can quite happily buy limestone off the market.

And there are hundreds of people with monuments who haven't been attacked yet. (The only attacking I've done is of undefended sites...)

Which is why military resources need some love. They were weak before this. Now, the margin is gargantuan.

Yeah, theoretically leather got a small boost by the increased cost of barracks, but it's still small compared to the cost of the soldiers, which is tiny next to the cost of other things.

The combat log for incoming attacks is nice, but it's not too useful--

Attacks don't show what player they're coming from, or what city/site... just the city/site's name....

Ok, great... links added to attackers, but no way to determine attack size.... not even an estimate...

Havent played much browser games have you :p

At least it can all be avoided by not doing monuments, though hopefully TM will be able to come up with some balances. I kinda dont think they intended monument wars to be mostly raiding.
