TM-your upgrade times are no longer annoying, they are just plain and simply on the RIDICULOUS side now! :(

do you mean upgrade times of the buildings ? they don't get longer as 60 hours ( and man... how did we do it ?)
i think it is rather annoying that have to upgrade so much to get slots for all that worker you get with every palace upgrade

Well if it wasn't for the upgrade times, the game would be even shorter ;)

In saying that once they go over 24 hours you do start losing patience with them, once they go over 48 hours it gets really silly and I think my biggest upgrade back on Sabah was about 56 hours :)

However for the most part I've found that the length of time to construct for example palaces is balanced out by the length of time you generally need to gather all the resources for them, especially bricks/limestone (once you have more than two palaces needing it)

the only unnecessary step they took to me was tying the warehouse in to palace level - just one more forced upgrade and time sink

Ahh but think about when you finally get to level 22 how good it will feel!

It is more rewarding if it takes a long time. :)

Call us back when you've hit that mark to share if you still feel that way. ;)

To be honest though, by the time I was hitting those levels, I also was checking only once or twice a day so it was less bothersome. :)

But unlike RL buildings get finished in the time they were promised to. Not very realistic indeed, but to call that ridiculous ... ;)

They often don't finish at the promised time. I am of the "baby boom" generation. I live in a "bedroom town", that is, most residents commute to work. There were many housing develpments built to accomodate them. The population soared. The town built a new school every year, and every year, there was one school on "double sessions" with the students from the one that was still under construction. One school had sesssions in the morning, the other in the afternoon.

This is why I LOVE the long upgrade times. All the time I had to constantly spend in the beginning - a nuisance for me - has been rewarded by this.

With a established market and buildings taking a good while before I have to worry again with their updating, I feel less anxious about watching for "best market offers" and possible time loss from cities idling around.

I like long upgrade times actually. I'd vote for them to be longer! :D

If things get done too fast, then I'd run out of things to do in this game. :o

Oh yawn.. :p Honey, when you get to be 65 years old and have to wait 72 hours for an upgrade, I don't think you'll be all that happy with them.. ;) But then, I keep asking myself, why do I keep playing this ridiculous game anyway?

I have no satisfactory answer yet.. (sigh)..

72 hours? What upgrade is that?
The maximum I've had was just short of 57 hours, for palace level 22.

I agree, also it would mean I'd need to log on less.

LONGER UPGRADE TIMES PLEASE! [or atleast some method to queue upgrades]
