Anyone besides me a fan of Leo Bucaglia? He once said, "It is our sameness that bring us together, it is our differences that keep us together. If we agree on everything, then we have nothing to talk about" -those works might not be exact, I can't find the quote.

That is the quote I was referring to (I think)
it's been a long time since I heard it though

So if other parties agree would you be willing to offer to forward messages to the rorum that you have received in a PM? Many people who might wish to offer comments? And can you offer some suggestions for options for a poll?

J├ęsus Christos! I would have thought you put together enough of these threads in the extreme that people would get tired of it. Any chance we'll focus on something else at some point, people?

I like Tink. He's given me answers to my questions that have been quite the opposite of condescending.

Speaking of which, I got another one, "How do I send workers back to my town from a quarry?" I can't seem to find a button for that.

There is no way. They are doomed for eternity. ;)

Howdy, Kahn!

Thank You! :)

Sorry, but once you send laborers to a quarry plot, they are stuck there forever. This was removed by TM, due to many players who exploited the option of returning them to our cities/other quarry plots. A "bug" fix. ;)

An honest opinion?

Tink is extremely helpful to new players, and quite friendly overall. I do think he exaggerates sometimes, but he doesn't appear to be elitist. I've seen him get agressive, but he does manage to make some sense. If hes lying about things, hes good at keeping track of it.

My main reason for dislike of Tink was his (to me) unexplained attack towards Juliaset. Which he has addressed in this post, without pressure, in a manner that makes perfect sense. People act upon what they see. If Tink saw in Juliaset an elitist who was against PvP in its entirety, whilst he was completely against that belief, there are agreeable grounds as to why Tink would attack her.

In any case, new arguments will have to be made, because the old ones have been repeatedly recycled and Tink has now answered to all of them.

Tink has an irrational dislike of CBC, and of HG. And anything connected with those two sites.

I don't think he dislikes the sites themselves or most of the people, I originally found my way to TM because of the c4 announcement in the C3 Heaven. he's never given me crap about any connections I had

I assure you that his complaints are unfounded.

It is the reason I changed my moniker away from my real name of MarkDuffy & retired that moniker, cuz I got the forum rungs title of Pharaoh & that was just too much to bear.

I seem to remember the circumstances around 'the name changing' a *little bit* differently, but never mind. :p

Me too just because it was coincidentally the same day I returned to the C4 forums after about 2 months away and the newest post was Marks leaving statement. I did not know until recently that mark and tink were the same person. (mostly because I don't pay attention most the time and I skim the drama and try not to get involved)

But really that does not really matter today, we all remember things the way we want to remember things and not necessarily they way they actually were.

I believe that the reason we really have a written language is because of how subjective our memories are. (It was invented for trade purposes if my memory serves correctly) :)

The thing is, Tink is changing the facts to suit himself. new members deserve to know the truth.

Sure, but does it really matter?

I guess that's all I have to say on the subject in this thread. If you wish to discuss it more, feel free to pm me.
