New General Game Log message

[10/01 @ 11:07 am] Your Tomb Raid quest has successfully completed! Check your scrolls for details.

It did not change when I just got a Linen.

Reed, no reason for message w/o results included. Might as well not have it in Game Log at all & only use scrolls. Just this message is a waste of server resources. Our suggestion was for results in Game Log.

Thank You! :)

in other news

I have now spent 9150 lux on Quests. Definite lux goods sink that we soooo desperately needed. Love it! Should help reduce the gifting <ducking>

...still need a good bread sink...how about an either lux or 100K bread?...

Your people have been inspired by the successful Holy Pilgrimage, earning you:

+ Next construction project reduced by 12 hours!
+ 1 Scarab! It has been credited to your account.

That's worthy :)

Greetings, oehrchen

Ah ha! That's what the construction speedup was. A one time thing. I was wondering...

Thank You, oehrchen! :)

I also tried deleting temporary internet files & history, then logging out/in. Still shows nothing for Eleanor.

By the way, this might be an unverified claim. ;) I read nothing.

UPDATE: Eleanor is now on the wall & I have seen the claim in person.

Yes, me. I'm located at 228S. Found skin and linen two days ago, but only bricks again since then :(

What does the "+" mean? I didn't get anything else. Can I get other things through a pilgimate also?

And, what if my next upgrade is less than 12 hours?

And, what if I earn another bonus before I upgrade the next time? Do they stack, or do I get a bonus for the next 2 buildings, or do I lose one bonus?

Very strange.

You pose some interesting questions. I had hoped that you would recieve a percentage boost, hopefully for the life of your account, if not for the next___days.

What level does your Palace have to be to get 6 envoys?

I think I'm enjoying reading about everyone else's expeditions almost as much as I'm enjoying my own!

(Maybe cuz so far I only gotz brickz fer mah efferts)

My capital is level 19 and I get 5 envoys. You have to have your capital at level 22 to get 6 envoys and be able to do the Holy Pilgrimage.

in 9 quest rounds

Postby lyrical » Fri Oct 02, 2009 10:57 am

I've fallen behind on my reporting...but I have done 10 (not 9 like the subject line says, sorry) (each using all 6 envoys) so far and have netted:

2 linen
1 flower
2 wine
1 hammer (all the lower level goods I think?)

1 scarab

tons of brix :)

1 12-hour construction speedup, which works as advertised. (I used it on my lvl 21 warehouse in my 3rd)

Not sure if the cheaper quests (nome, desert) can get those higher-up shiny goods, so am alternating tomb and holy pilgrimage for now...

my Sabah name is meadis

For those who wonder how the speedup works.

We get a indicator above baskets but below scarabs on our screens that tells us that the speedup is in effect. Every building in every city now indicates a new construction time & indicator.

We must use the speedup on our next upgrade. It can change your upgrade plans.

Minimum upgrade times are 15 minutes, so an 8 hour upgrade with a 12 hour speedup changes to 15 minutes. So far, they look like they are all 12 hours, not random & we get one every time with a Holy Pilgrimage quest.

Once it us used, everything goes back to normal.

Very interesting...

Ouch!

It is a BUG: Quest Profile Items Display, but I see you have now made a new bug thread ==> Quest item not counted (better, use this one)
