6238 laborers

6238 laborers

Could someone please explain how to get 6238 laborers to work. I'm maxed at 5818. That's 1395 for each L22 town and 119 for both L12 monument spots. I'm still 420 short :confused: And I know there are players who have those extra 420 workers.

So you only get the extra workers if you purchase Photoshop.

Howdy, birdie!

Some players do whoopsies & send too many workers to their monuments.

There was even a time when some players thought workers counted in rank (they do not), so they did it on purpose! LOL

EDIT: 6238 = Agamemnus. HeHe. He was one who thought they counted in rank, so he Labbed it. :D

Thanks for your replies :P

So the amount of workers mentioned on the players stats screen is not the amount that's actually working. It's also counting the unemployed. So I could send dozens of workers to my monument spots to raise that number.

Remarkable there's not just one player who has exactly 420 more workers.That made me wonder. Thanks again for your input.

If that number has come up several times, then perhaps there is a monument max. If there was one, I'm sure Ag would have found it!

6238 workers would mean 329 in each of 2 monuments. That is is the number of workers for a level 22 Resource plot. The maximum level for quarries is now level 12 but it was initially possible to build them up higher. Later they were capped at level 12 and any workers which had been sent there for higher level quarries would be left there and unemployed but still counted.

Maybe there were some players who had already built up their quarries to level 22?

Edit: There are players with 6238 workers in Theoris, where building a quarry higher than level 12 was never possible - so it looks like 6238 is a maximum .

I'm sure Ag lost monuments after that & sent more. :D

EDIT to your edit: Yup, we can still send extra laborers. I just didn't know how many before. We do now!

Oh wait, the Prez grew up politically there, didn't he? :eek:

Yeah, some of my cities had excess labor in the limestone quarries after they capped their levels. I never did a lab to see if the excess helped my stats any. Another opportunity missed.

Laborers aren't included in that calculation. The only thing they have to do with rank is the fact that if you're not using them efficiently, it'll ultimately affect how quickly you're able to progress.
