Specialization Points

Postby Sayamistar » Fri Dec 24, 2010 2:09 am

Where are the specialization points best used??? If there had been the option of bread and wheat, for me almost all of them would have gone there... I have 3 one used on bricks and the other two on lux shops.

Spec is best used in your native lux raw, where most of your workers will always be consistently.

We used to be able to spec in wheat, but TM removed it cuz we all used it only. ;)

I use them all for whatever that city's main crop or goods are, kohl in my city producing kohl, etc.

I agree, the lux raw which you produce in a city. The exception might be right at the start of the game, where you might want to put some points into clay. Later in the game it is possible to change your spec point allocation, which costs bread.

Sorry, I voted wrongly - I didn't see the separation between raws and lux raws. Oops!

Agreed, Ivy, both points. A few in clay for bricks at low palace might work too, then respec to lux raws later.

And definitely on the voting problem! ;)

Yeah, the specialization idea was kind of cool, but ultimately turned into a no brainer.
