SuperBowl Fever!

Postby MarkDuffy » Mon Jan 01, 2007 3:07 pm

We got it bad...

VERY bad

San Diego BELIEVES this is our year ... hopefully ... finally ... everything's crossed & we are praying REALLY haaaard!

MY Chargers have the BEST record in Football! :D

So, who's your Playoff team this year or just add your feelings about this season & how you did or didn't do. Predictions for your team next year?

R U ready for some FOOTBALL (Playoffs)?

Could be Keith vs me at the Big Dance (but after the Cheesehead game last night, I'm not so sure about the Bears...)

It's been very dry here in the semi-desert. But this year is sizzling so far!

~ ~ ~

Jan 25, 2007 EDIT: We now know who's gonna play. PUBLIC Poll, one choice only. Poll will close before the game starts. NO guts, no Glory, Keith! ;) :p ;)

Wohooo, football is coming home... :)
Well i like football very much, kinda strange in germany and nobody understands it here, but i want it!!! :D

After i bought the ESPN NFL 2K series way back the first time i do play the playoffs and the final in superbowl every year, cos we do not get to see anything in german free-tv, only the final. :o
So when i bought the 2K5 version and asked for a good team here in the forum, cos i was too stupid to look it up in the internet (cos i only knew the final 2 teams from the last 10 years or so), i now always play with the New England Patriots..and not knowing very much about this team, its my official favourite for years (in the last years i always played with the winner from the real-life superbowl final the years before). :D ;)

See you Jets on the 7th... :)

PATRIOTS!
Playoffs are about coaching, quarterbacking, and defense - in that order. We have the best of two (coaching, qb) and the second-best in defense (behind Ravens). Sorry, MD, but I'm afraid the Chargers will not make it with Marty-ball and a first-year QB. If the Pats don't make it, though, I'll be rooting for your Bolts. LT single-handedly carried two of my fantasy football teams into the playoffs this year.

After we have done the Jets in this ''wild-card-game'', we now gonna take a short look at Phil Rivers (1st postseason ha?!), before we then -somewhere over the rainbow..far away in the future- will win this bowl! :) ;)

This weekend will be the REAL Super Bowl. The two best teams in the NFL square off in San Diego on Sunday and I believe the winner of this game will win it all.

The way all of the sports analysts are talking, I don't see why the Patriots would even bother taking the field today. Tomlinson can't be stopped - he'll have about 400 yards and seven touchdowns. Rivers is the hottest quarterback in the league - and obviously better than Tom Brady since he made the Pro Bowl and Brady didn't. Merriman can enforce his will on any offensive line, so there's no chance New England will even complete a pass, let alone make a first down. This could be the first playoff game in NFL history to end 140-0!

But now that I think about it, it seems like I've heard all this before... Looks like we've got everbody right where we want them! ;)
