So no one here has tried this game? I'm surprised?
I was thinking of buying it but am not sure if it's more RTS or more city builder...I'd prefer the latter...downloading a demo now...

The best thing to do is download the demo. it's short and sweet, not a bad game but I have not purchased it after playing the demo.

Howdy, Pharaoh Pepy!

Long time not type! I hope you are well!

I took your advice & downloaded the Demo but haven't installed it yet. I'm not a big Anno fan but will give it a try.

Thankx! :)

I have, it is an exceptional game. I'm not thrilled with their use of DRM in the steam and Impulse versions, but nonetheless it is the best thing Blue Byte has done in years.

Ugh, the Demo has a 1 hour time limit & I still cannot figure out how to unload the fish at the stone quarry.

I am doing something really dumb & missing the obvious, obviously. I have a ton of fish crates floating in the ocean now from throwing them overboard instead of unloading them. LOL

...lost dazed & confused...my favorite state with a new game...

:D

EDIT: Oooooh, it is handled through the quest icon not unloading ships. LOL No wonder I kept throwing stuff into the ocean.

I LIKE this game! :)

Now, who was it that wanted C4: Heroes & Quests and got rejected instantly by the Old People? Oh yeah, it was ME.

Winning the first scenario appears to have given me more time. I played for well over one hour the second time. Almost won mission two but then I quit.

REEDIT: Very interesting! There is no game save in the demo, but when I restarted it, it began with campaign scenario 2! Sweet!

...but then time ran out on me before I won the scenario...rats...lol...got to be faster to see campaign scenario 3...
