Well guys I took the plunge with my new computer. I downloaded steam and promptly bought the Children of the Nile Pack. :D

Now I want to find out. Where on steam do I find Caesar 4? Because I can't find the CD locally anywhere.

Thanks.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you'll have a Brilliant New Year.

I don't think Caesar IV is on steam. You can get it via digital download from places like Direct2Drive and a few other licensed vendors.

Have you looked in Amazon.com for Caesar IV? I pretty sure some of their affiliated retailers will have a copy.

I am not familiar with the site but I found this

http://www.biggamedownloads.com/free-strategy-games/caesar-iv.htm

No demo or free version but they re-direct you to a trymedia site to do the purchasing / downloading.

Trymedia is a legit site so I suppose it is safe.

You can get it for less through Amazon if that is an option in S.Africa.

good luck and happy gaming!

It should be it was the alternate digital download site link provided on the defunct CaesarIV. com website.

When I looked for C4 online it was vastly overpriced compared with what you can get it for from Amazon, E-bay, etc. Especially if you are happy to use the US version.

On D2D it was $7.50 and on biggamedownloads it was $23.50.
