Stopping the ships/caravans on the way?

Postby Niusereset » Wed Jun 12, 2013 3:34 pm

Just a simple suggestion for the case you mis-type or mis-click something when sending workers/soldiers/goods.

And for not being too easy... let give to it a time limit when you can do it... something from 30 to 60 seconds.
That should be enough time to realize the mistake and cancel it.
After that time... [FONT=Verdana]oops

The ability to cancel shipments has been suggested before a long time ago.

We all make mistakes, and most of us have done it, and most players will return any goods to you that you may have sent in error. Or, they make keep them and pay you for them with goods or bread.

Adding a cancel function would open the game up to another means of ripping off other players.

It really comes down to the fact you have just have to be more careful before you hit that send button.

There is nothing wrong with suggesting it again. I just wanted to point out that it had been mentioned before.

TM is the deciding power as to what is or is not going to be in the game. I just think that adding a cancel function will introduce a new problem into the game.

Nothing is for free.
And the thing it was here before... it tells something. They don't want it be there. Another question is if in the previous suggestion was also time limit (or how long - IMHO 60 seconds is quite enought), or without time-limit (which I consider to be nonsence).

I agree with Keith that a cancel button would open up more opportunities for abuse, so maybe an additional "Are you sure you want to send these goods to X?" button would be better.
