Drop dead plz, thanks very much.

Postby iCat » Wed Mar 11, 2009 7:14 pm

After weeks of hard trading I've finally made it from around 1600th to the top 10 in the rankings. Yay me. However, I suspect the last few ranks I gained were more to do with those above me 'going immortal' rather than any skilful trading on my part.

So if the rest of the top 10 could very kindly drop dead please, that would be much appreciated.

kthnxbye.

Don't stop there! I wish immortality on any Pharaoh (unless they are a regular trading partner) :D

My rank is 134 and steadily climbing. I support the OP and everything this thread stands for. :)

Thanks for the support! To those eagerly awaiting my own demise, don't worry I intend to claim immortality, just as soon as everyone else is dead. :D

lol. Kinda reminds me of the dead collector scene in Holy Grail.

"He says he's not dead."

"Well, he'll be dead soon."
"I'm getting better."
"No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment."

I sent you 3000 sandals only yesterday. And I still have several thousand more if you want them.

LOL I can see high ranked folks holding immortality drives - getting donations from those below them with the promise they will retire sooner that way. :)

Ooh, that's you? :) Well I never. I hope you enjoyed the jewelry in return and yes, soon I shall be trading for more.

Cheers.

Another one down! Thanks Broney, your passing is a tremendously sad occasion and you'll be deeply missed. *partypartypartypartypartypartyparty*

4 guys dropped since I last checked, so I moved 4 ranks up. Looks like this is the only way to go up, dunno for those two holding the top? Bread count is crucial - maybe...

We all owe to drop dead at some point. It's in the spirit of the game, which becomes pointless after a while. You can't fool death, if you don't die, passion dies for you. Reach immortality and then get born again. Play the game like you play life :) . Leave room for others, don't get stuck there. It's not fun, it's not natural, it's not fair.

Hahaha. Nice. I like the sense of humor in the top 10. I fear for my life. I stole two monument plots today.. With a total military power of 10, count em, 10 charioteers. Boosted me up 300 spots in the rankings.. Lol..

I guess Aga won't quit until he's number 1. And Kuuchan doesn't seem to want to quit at all...

Since all 22/22/22/22 players basically only hoard goods, there is few chance to catch up. You can't take away their goods. You just can take away their monuments. I recall something about your prestige rises the longer you keep a monument, so taking the monuments away from top players frequently will not only use up ressources to build military again, it will also drop their prestige total.

So I think, either you wait for the tops to retire, or you'll have to battle for those ranks hard.
