Medieval Mayor Military units

Most of the units come from forts, except Knights, who come from the elite housing. Soldiers require weapons, some require armor/horses as well.

Swordsmen: These basic soldiers are versatile infantry with medium armor and near-average speed. They require weapons and armor but are good all rounders are are particularly good against pikemen.

Pikemen: These soldiers are slower but tougher than swordsmen, but fit a more specialized role. Pikemen require weapons and armor and are good for protecting archers are other vulnerable people from enemy cavalry.

Archers: These soldiers are meant to support melee troops in combat with arrows, requiring only weapons. They are weak in melee but can outrun infantry, though they will be cut down by cavalry.

Horsemen: Your light cavalry, these troops require horses and weapons, but are faster than any other soldier you get. They are best used for killing missile troops and fleeing enemies.

Knights: Unlike other soldiers, these elite cavalry come from Elite Housing at an appropriate level. The housing requires armor, weapons, and horses to evolve at that level. Knights, however, better armored and armed than most soldiers, though they are slower than Horsemen. They are the pinnacle of your military and are effective against most enemies, though watch out for enemy pikemen. As knights are citizens of your city, losing them will affect your population of elite and their equipment is lost upon death. The house may devolve if it loses enough military equipment.

I've updated my idea of a military to make soldiers more defined and serve different purposes.

Just gonna say ... no matter how many new aliases and sock puppet accounts you post under ...

I REALLY DOUBT Tilted Mill will turn "Medieval Mayor" into "Rome:Total War".

If you want battle ... go play a battle game.
