Love the only problem is you missed the most important one...A GAME THAT DOESN'T CRASH!

A bit necroed I think, but I like the list. I would like to make one addition though. When you click on a citizen only make him complain if there is something to complain about. To complain about hunger pains, when every house have over 400 food and I have over 1 year worth of food in my granaries is just stupid.

I would also like a way to have more control over distribution and good/food transportation on big maps. Like if your farms are far away from your food production, you could have the option to f.eks double the amount of workers in the graneries so there would be twice as many guys going to the farms to collect the food. Now you have to build loads of them if you have to bring your food a long way.

Hello guys!

Long time no see.

I have continued to work on my suggestions for a sequel to Caesar IV.
To try to avoid any copyright issues, I now call it Governor.
I have now come to a point where it might be interesting to
develop some kind of prototype of the game.

Let me be clear about one thing: my aim is not to make money out of it,
my aim is to produce something that might give excitement and joy to
people who appreciate citybuilding games.

There is one big problem though: I can’t program.
What I have so far is a number of word files, excel files and pictures with ideas and outlines of the game.

Would any of you be interested to help me with this project?
Do you have any programming skills?
How can I come in contact with you?

I can’t promise you any other reward but the joy of creating something new.

Nice to see that somebody else is also thinking of continuing city building games. Very nice.

Did you have a look at my little project ?

If you could do programming, then you would quickly see which of your suggestions are easy because they are just more of the same, i.e. what already exists in Caesar IV. Other items require a totally new engine, like the multiplayer things. Stuff like longer videos is also an easy matter, that just depends on how much money you are willing to put into video production, or how much time you put into doing it yourself.

You will also need a graphics artist and/or modeller, depending on the technology. Probably you want to use one of the 3D frameworks, like Unity, so you need 3D models. A lot. And textures for the models...

Good luck! For programmers and graphics guys you may also post requests on the specialized forums. But don't get your expectations too high. those guys either have a lot of ideas of their own that they want to work on, or they are looking for paid work.
