On the military...

I am one of the few that prefers to not bother with military. I just played through Zeus again and paid off the invaders every time rather than bother with a battle. There were 2 times I had not the money so I had to fight and won both times with ease.

Building up for The Trojan War campaign was a touch tedious but since it's a game I enjoy the time spent playing. Generally I like to build the city and see it operating smoothly and making money.

Me too, I prefer to build economy and not to bother in early game military.
After my city is grown and running smoothly, then I can enjoy a little military.
